Welcome to the new PhotoBlog of Outlaw Photograhy Studios!

Welcome! I hope you're enjoying the new site design and features of the improved OutlawPhotography.net. We've put in about six straight months of programming, designing, processing, and testing to give you the best possible online experience we can provide.

My name is James Taylor, and I am your humble Outlaw Photographer. You can find more information about me and my work on the main Outlaw web site.

Outlaw Photography Studios has grown by leaps and bounds of the past two years, thanks to the incredible support the Bandera County and Texas Hill Country communities have given us. This new site design is built from the ground up to better serve you, our valued clients. If you have any questions or comments, likes or dislikes, or any suggestions on how we can continue to improve our site and services for you, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Believe it or not, Outlaw Photography Studios, or at least my foray into professional photography, started out in the form of a photoblog. Bantucky.net, the former home of the predecessor company to Outlaw, was a blog powered by MovableType and updated with a few choice photos after every shoot I did for the Bandera Bulletin (my day job).

So, this is sort of a return to my professional roots, to begin anew with a fresh photoblog. I hope that my writing and photography have both improved since the old days!

This photoblog is your window into the behind-the-scenes work of an Outlaw Photographer. I will try to practice good journalism by writing short and posting pictures on topics of interest, from technical details of photos to "what it takes" background info on our biggest projects.

That said, enjoy this outtake from a recent photo shoot with Laura, James, and Christie! They stopped by to play around in our new studio and had a lot of fun just goofing around. I love dynamicism in shoots, and these guys gave me plenty of it.
