Please keep in mind that our portraiture schedule is usually booked one month in advance, and prime weekend dates for weddings are usually booked one year in advance (check with us soon to see if your desired date is available).


Design Consultation

Upon booking your photo shoot with us, we are happy to set up a design consultation with you, either in your home or at our studio. We will talk with you about wardrobe, photographic styles, what product lines you are interested in (wall art, albums, etc.), and we will get to know more about your family and your photography needs.

If you are interested in our line of wall art, large framed and mounted prints, an in-home design consultation will allow us to view your wall space and provide recommendations for what kinds of hangings and/or groupings would look best displayed there.

While a consultation is not required for your photo shoot, we do suggest one to best plan out your photography experience.


Wedding Consultation

For our wedding clients, we always like to meet the soon-to-be newlyweds (and do require at least one consultation) to talk about different photographic styles and get to know your personalities. There are infinite nuances that make your wedding day perfect, and we want to have as much information as possible to plan out how we will best cover your big day.

With all of the planning involved, and our experience in dealing with the innumerable details that make up the best weddings, we often become good friends with our clients leading up to their wedding day. Having this level of comfort with your wedding photographer is important to ensure a smooth, fun, enjoyable experience through all of the photos that will be taken, from engagement sessions and bridals through the rehearsal dinner, preparation, ceremony, and reception.


Photo Shoot

The pace and movement of your photo shoot will be a reflection of the types of photographs you want to make.

For traditional and relationship portraiture, we slow things down and flow naturally from one pose to the next, creating deep, rich photographs that celebrate the connection and love shared between your family members. Our children's photography showcases your child's personality, from whimsical to stately. These images are timeless, gentle, and cherished for generations.

With our fashion portraiture, we up the pace and the stakes, building on energy, personality, and personal style to make awesone photographs that make you go, "wow!" If you ever wanted to make photos that look like they were pulled straight from the pages of the fashion magazines, this is your day!


Post-shoot Viewing

For our local clients, we arrange a post-shoot viewing at the Outlaw Studio roughly one week after your photo shoot. At this viewing, you will get your first glimpse at your family's photographs, choose your favorites from the collection, and place your order for wall art, albums, gift prints, and goodies.

Based upon your initial design consultation, Outlaw Photographer James Taylor will offer his recommendations to ease the decision making process. Consistently, our clients' only complaint is that we provide too many excellent images to choose from! This is one complaint we will gladly wear as a badge of honor.

For out of town and out of state clients, we post your proof images to a private online album. After viewing your images, contact us by e-mail or phone for artist recommendations and to place your order.


Delivery

The same day as your order is placed, we do final processing on your images (blemish removal, touch-ups, and any other custom requests you may have) and send the high-resolution files to our professional lab. Their technicians and equipment produce only the finest archival-quality prints, lightfast to over 100 years when properly maintained.

Allow one business day for printing, mounting, and framing your order. When ready, your order will be given to FedEx for overnight delivery. You may have your order delivered to our studio for inspection and pick-up, or directly to your home for fastest delivery.

Once you have had time to view your prints and hang them in your home, we will contact you to ensure you are completely satisfied with our service and product, ask for suggestions you believe would improve the Outlaw Experience, and answer any remaining questions you may have.

If for any reason you are unhappy with your art, prints, or our service, please let us know so that we can make good on our promise.
