I’ve got to say, Veronica is one of the sweetest people I’ve met through Craigslist so far! She’s due with her little girl, Ava, very soon – I was lucky enough to get her in my studio before it’s too late! She filled the camera room with her contagious laughter, and really made it a fun session! I can’t wait for her to come back with Baby Ava! (and if she’s as beautiful as Mommy is, I’m in for a treat!)
Little Micah is another cloth diapered cutie from my forum – his mom Katie offered to bring him in, and with him being only four weeks old AND in cloth diapers.. well, you know I jumped on that opportunity! Unfortunately, Micah had other ideas! He did not want to sleep at all, and only wanted to be held.. but can you blame him?? Life is so rough, isn’t it? :) I did get several great photos, and Katie says she’d like to bring him back for Round Two, which makes me infinitely happy! :)
Heather is an online friend of mine from a cloth diapering forum, who offered to bring in her little girl – and I’m *always* thrilled to meet other fluffy-butted babies! Little Lena is just the cutest thing ever.. or as I’m now calling her, a cute Lil’ Stinker, due to the skunk get-up we had on her! And lucky for me, brother Joseph wanted just ONE photo too!
The only thing more exciting than photographing one sweet baby is photographing two!
I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot with identical twins Aida and Kallison recently, and they were such a hoot. It’s amazing to see two babies who are so physically similar, but so wonderfully unique in personalities.
Both girls were a delight to shoot with, as were their wonderful parents. When you’re shooting multiples, you have to take a multiple of photos to get just the right expressions on both faces! When one wants to sit and smile, the other wants to crawl off and play; wrangling them into certain positions and scenes is a fun challenge!
We were all set up on Wednesday for a preschooler photo shoot, but our client had to cancel at the last minute. We decided to take advantage of this opportunity and shoot some faerie costume and tutu product shots with lovely Miss McCayla!
Little girls love to play dress up, and these pieces produced by Work At Home Moms (WAHMs) are just beautiful. A great wardrobe can take a photo shoot to the next level, from babies to high school seniors to family photos.
