Aida and Kallison Twins Baby Photo Shoot

img_3607

The only thing more exciting than photographing one sweet baby is photographing two!

I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot with identical twins Aida and Kallison recently, and they were such a hoot. It’s amazing to see two babies who are so physically similar, but so wonderfully unique in personalities.

Both girls were a delight to shoot with, as were their wonderful parents. When you’re shooting multiples, you have to take a multiple of photos to get just the right expressions on both faces! When one wants to sit and smile, the other wants to crawl off and play; wrangling them into certain positions and scenes is a fun challenge!

Baby Audrey Photo Shoot

Almost all of our clients come to us via recommendations from friends and family, and I can’t tell you how important that is to us.  Your kind words make a huge difference in our business!

Barbara was kind enough to refer Nicki to me for photos of her beautiful little girl Audrey, and I am SO glad she did! I can’t even begin to tell you how much personality this little beauty has! You can see it in every photo. I adored her and hope to get the chance to bring them back in soon! After all, it takes a special kind of kiddo to make a teacup look good! ;)

Jacob Newborn Photo Shoot

My friend Tabby (who started off as an internet-friend but I’m happy to say she’s “real” now LOL) just had her third baby – another boy! Final score? Boys 3, Girls 0! :)

I was so excited to hear that Little Jacob had made his appearance! Of course the first thing I did was ask her when they could come to the studio. Lucky me, she brought the boys up when Jacob was only six days old!

I was hoping for some sweet, bendy, squishy newborn photos, but Jacob had other plans! We did manage to get a few sleepy shots, but mostly he just wanted to be held. (Life is rough, isn’t it?) I am thrilled beyond belief though, because for a brief moment in time, all three boys cooperated long enough to get one amazing photo! How often do the stars really align like that? :)

Faerie Magazine Photo Shoots

A very talented woman by the name of Eve Lennon has been doing amazing things for sick children. She started the Fairy Nana Project as a way to make little girls with life-threatening illnesses feel like a beautiful princess. She makes the most gorgeous fairy costumes by hand (which is quite a feat after recovering from a stroke!) and delivers them to the Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Little did she know, her work would end up getting her featured on multiple news stories and articles, as well as an article in Faerie Magazine (which is pubished in the US and UK quarterly).

She and I have been working on getting some photos of her amazing costumes – and I feel so lucky that she chose me to do this with her!

First I brought a few awesome girls into the studio – Danielle, McCayla, Maddi, Kaylen and Lauren – we got some beautiful photos, which are some of my favorites! The girls did an incredible job, really knocked my socks off!

Then I set up a photo shoot with one of James’ and my favorite models, Kelcie, and went down to the City Park in Bandera to shoot beside and in the Medina River.

Last, I took a bunch of sweetie pies to the Japanese Tea Gardens in San Antonio – this place is amazingly picturesque! Danielle, Genesis, Lily, Violet, and Juliette were so beautiful in their fairy costumes! So many people stopped us just to say that they loved the fairies, or to ask where to buy a costume – and it was a ton of fun!

Baby Ellarie Photo Shoot

img_1370-bw1

Barbara and Keith delighted me by coming in for maternity photos when she was quite-near due to deliver “Baby E” (they had yet to finalize a name, though they knew it would start with “E”! ). They are such a sweet couple!

I consider myself to be very lucky, as they decided to come back with Baby Ellarie as a newborn! She didn’t sleep a whole lot, but we were able to get a few snoozy moments as well as some while she was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed!

She has so much expression in her face, especially those gorgeous eyes, I could photograph her all day!
