Ryder Newborn Photo Shoot

Little baby Ryder graced our studio recently for his one-week photo shoot. As newborns are apt to do, he slept through most of the commotion, never fussing or fretting over spending time in daddy Tyler’s fireman’s cap. He’s every bit as precious a baby as he looks.

Tyler and his family out in Medina have long been good friends of ours, and James and I are delighted and honored to photograph the latest addition to their family.

Enjoy below some of the highlights from our shoot:

Athena Corinna Birth Photo Story

Forgive me if I gush.

My daughter Athena Corinna was born Nov. 1 – it’s been a wonderful week of welcoming her into mine and Jacklen’s lives.

Thanks to the wonderful folks at St. David’s Hospital, besides delivering all three of my children, I was also able to photograph their births. Below, I’m happy to share my daughter’s birth story, in photos, with you guys.

Thank you to friends and family for all the prayers and well wishes – they are always appreciated.

If you’ve ever considered taking photos yourself, or having a professional photographer document your child’s birth, I obviously can highly recommend it. It’s a beautiful way to share the story with friends, family, and generations to come. Photos only grow in value with time – those baby photos today may cost you $20 an 8×10, but what will that image, that memory, be worth when your baby turns 18 and moves off to college? What about when they’re welcoming their own babies into the world, or their babies’ babies? Can’t be measured.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful experience with my family.

Ava Baby Photo Shoot

Sweet Miss Ava has been a guest of the Outlaw studio in Bandera, TX, since before she was born. I was privileged to photograph mommy Veronica’s maternity photos, Ava’s newborn photos, and this shoot last week marked the first time I had seen Ava since.

I absolutely adore this little girl. She’s a sweetheart full of hugs and kisses to share. The birthday girl was a bit hesitant to dive right into her special photo shoot cake, but once she got comfy, she was digging in! One-year cake smashes are always fun shoots.

The Outlaw studio is open for maternity, newborn and baby photos all summer long. E-mail James@outlawphotography.net or call Jacklen at 830-822-5999 to book your shoot. I look forward to working with you!

Newborn Thomas Photo Shoot

Our family was blessed with a great Christmas Eve gift this year, the opportunity to shoot with Thomas only two days after his birth!

We traveled up to Philip and Samantha’s house in Spring Branch, Texas, to shoot in their home. We took the Outlaw mobile studio and set up in their living room so baby Thomas could stay warm and comfy in his own home.

Thomas was a sweet little sleepyhead and snoozed through most of the photo shoot – being born is a lot of work! He deserved the rest.

It was a beautiful drive and an easy shoot with a family excited to add a little bundle of joy to their world. We are super excited for the family and hope to shoot with Thomas again soon.

With no session fees and no minimum order, newly-minted parents can come to Outlaw Photography for their maternity, newborn, three-month old, six-month, nine-month, and first birthday photos (cake smash time!) without facing any extra charges for doing multiple photo shoots.

If you’re ready to set up your family’s photo shoot with us, please don’t hesitate to contact me to get set up!

Baby Twins Ali & Stone Photo Shoot

I was lucky enough to be able to photograph another set of twins – this time, six month old Ali and Stone graced the studio with their abundance of cuteness! Their mom, Elizabeth, responded to one of my Craigslist ads and I was admittedly excited to bring them in as soon as possible. This is a fun and interesting age (for singletons OR multiples!) as they are usually quite curious, extremely expressive, and yet they’re not quite sitting up confidently yet – it makes for lots of personality, though it poses an interesting challenge when it comes to posing them safely..
My motto is: “When all else fails, prop them in the tub!” and I’m sure glad we did, because I’m not sure there’s anything cuter than babies in a bathtub!
