Ryder Newborn Photo Shoot

Little baby Ryder graced our studio recently for his one-week photo shoot. As newborns are apt to do, he slept through most of the commotion, never fussing or fretting over spending time in daddy Tyler’s fireman’s cap. He’s every bit as precious a baby as he looks.

Tyler and his family out in Medina have long been good friends of ours, and James and I are delighted and honored to photograph the latest addition to their family.

Enjoy below some of the highlights from our shoot:

Newborn Thomas Photo Shoot

Our family was blessed with a great Christmas Eve gift this year, the opportunity to shoot with Thomas only two days after his birth!

We traveled up to Philip and Samantha’s house in Spring Branch, Texas, to shoot in their home. We took the Outlaw mobile studio and set up in their living room so baby Thomas could stay warm and comfy in his own home.

Thomas was a sweet little sleepyhead and snoozed through most of the photo shoot – being born is a lot of work! He deserved the rest.

It was a beautiful drive and an easy shoot with a family excited to add a little bundle of joy to their world. We are super excited for the family and hope to shoot with Thomas again soon.

With no session fees and no minimum order, newly-minted parents can come to Outlaw Photography for their maternity, newborn, three-month old, six-month, nine-month, and first birthday photos (cake smash time!) without facing any extra charges for doing multiple photo shoots.

If you’re ready to set up your family’s photo shoot with us, please don’t hesitate to contact me to get set up!

Baby Twins Ali & Stone Photo Shoot

img_0260_1

I was lucky enough to be able to photograph another set of twins – this time, six month old Ali and Stone graced the studio with their abundance of cuteness! Their mom, Elizabeth, responded to one of my Craigslist ads and I was admittedly excited to bring them in as soon as possible. This is a fun and interesting age (for singletons OR multiples!) as they are usually quite curious, extremely expressive, and yet they’re not quite sitting up confidently yet – it makes for lots of personality, though it poses an interesting challenge when it comes to posing them safely..
My motto is: “When all else fails, prop them in the tub!” and I’m sure glad we did, because I’m not sure there’s anything cuter than babies in a bathtub!

Baby Audrey Infant Photo Shoot

IMG_0649

The beautiful Miss Audrey came to visit me when she was just a few months old – and I was so lucky to get to see her again yesterday! Unfortunately, her visit came with the sad news that her family is moving across the country.. I’m sure going to miss them! I’m just crossing my fingers that they’ll be back to visit, maybe around Christmas and we can do some birthday photos with her! :D

Until then, we were able to get them some *gorgeous* photos of Audrey (if I do say so, myself!) to hold them over! They brought tons of props, which always thrills me. Check out the vintage rocking chair and the personalized “Audrey” lounge chair! SO darned cute!

George Cooney Pet Photo Shoot

img_7444

While photographing a band out at 11th Street Cowboy Bar, I stumbled across John and his uhm, interesting.. pet. Meet “George Cooney” – John’s domesticized pet raccoon! I absolutely adore raccoons.. my family raised two babies once, but they grew up and ran away eventually.. George is five years old and goes everywhere with John. I took a few photos of George there at 11th Street, but of course I offered John my card and asked if he’d consider bringing George in for a proper portrait.. and the next morning, he sure did!
George was excited by so much “stuff” in the camera room that it was hard to get a good one, but we did get a couple – hopefully they can come back and try a few more the next time John is in town! :)
